September 7, MI-CFTC calls for wide participation in events without a strike. For those who can, we invite to submit a 1 / 2 RTT or a half day off to go to the events in question.
Indeed, recognizing the constraints engendered by repeated strikes against a backdrop of severe economic crisis, and especially the low impact they have in the functioning of prefectures, sub-prefectures, central, and in administrative services of the police and of the gendarmerie (administrations within the scope of the CFTC-MI), our organization prefers to make visible discontent by the presence in the street. However, our solidarity is full. In this context, the strike fair is to pay to a charity or humanitarian equivalent of a day's strike in the public service, or 1/30th of the gross wage (or less, depending on the means of each).
This formula is triply satisfactory
1 / Contrary to the conventional strike, money "unearned" does not fall into the hands of those who pushed us to strike,
2 / the amount so paid will be recovered by the donor to 2 / 3 or 3 / 4 (depending on the type beneficiary organizations), to the extent it is taxable income (after tax),
3 / we make our day of action fully satisfactory, because we help the needy and sick.
However, this does not constitute definitive renunciation of the classical strike. We will study the situation on a case by case, depending on context.
